This shot was very hard to take. I first got the idea during a *photohunt contest, with the subject being "Vision". I used my Nikon D50 with my manual 55mm micro mounted and a 105mm to shoot with my eye. There are so many variables when shooting something like this. The distance between the subjects all pieces of glass are very important. Getting light on my eye, which is 1/2" from the lens, was tough. I had a very powerful light bulb right next to my face. I actually got a few 2nd degree burns from it. I am still not 100% happy with the shot, I might try again later but for now it’s the best I can do.
