Okay, I know I have not submitted anything for quite awhile now. I have been trying astrophotography and it’s proving more difficult then I had originally imagined.

This is my best image so far of M42, I know the real astro-photographer will look at this with amusement but I intend to keep trying and improving.

my only question is how exactly did you go about doing it? (is somewhat interested in astrophotography)

i love the pale, washed out far away sort of feel that it has :)
