Wow, I am speechless, and now with my speech.

My second Daily Deviation! I don't believe it!! Thank you so much for your recommendation and beautiful comment ~Monastor :hug: And thank you to ^KevLewis aswell for actually featuring it! :giggle:

I suppose I should also thank Justin a Visitor Information station volunteer, he is the man in the image (he had no idea i was shooting.) Of course also the VIS itself, located on the slop of Mauna Kea on the Big Island of Hawaii: which is perhaps the best place in the world for visual astronomy.

Oh, I didn't know you had already had a DD before.
I like the new DD more than the previous one though, it's much more original :giggle:
Sunsets seem to be getting a bit cliched :)
You've got many shots better than the most faved one in your gallery.

Yea, I agree. Sunsets are overdone and easy. Anyone else there could have gotten the exact same image (but they were all playing cards.) I am glad others enjoy the image but I was never a fan.
This image however is one of my favorites. I am very happy that more people were given the chance to see "The Astronomer" and I am enormously appreciative of your part.
