Hey folks,

I have an aunt who is co-curating a gallery showing in NY. She asked me if she could show a few of my photos.

She has specifically asked for and i'm also sending

I was able to get beautiful 11x14 professional prints from work. She will matte them as soon as she receives them. I have never sold anything before and have no idea what price to set sell them at. If anyone has tips on what to sell them for, or any other selling tips for that matter, it would be greatly appreciated.

I personally sell my photography for $40 for an 8x10. This is mainly to keep my inventory moving for my artwork is seen by more people in homes, etc. I find your work to be much better quality than mine, and my prices are very inexpensive. I would think that your photos could sell for around $80.

That's all I know, but New York is a much different market than the small town area that I am from, lol. Congratulations on your gallery showing!

oh wow what an oppertunity! Great for you:D At a gallery if you price your stuff too cheap it will not be taken seriously. Digital prints usually sell around 100 and up at gallery shows. It's up to you though. I'm having the same dilemma currently...pricing is a pain!
